I don’t usually play guitar, I am not a guitarist but the melodies that were spinning in my head were quite clear, they were saying something like “man, for this song you need some strings, they must be played with an instrument you are not familiar with but deep inside you know that you must use some strings, don’t you?” And it happened.
The guitar was simply perfect, the right choice to express this idea of something (or someone) that can cradle you, teach you, a place where you are finally free, that will always be in your heart and that will support you at every step of your life, someone you can rest with one day…
I thought that the melody was a “Madre” (mother in Italian) whispering to me, any mother, of any kind: human, animal, Gaia, Pachamama, Prithvi…
